Toddler Art Playgroup: Fall 1 Session (6 weeks)
Toddler Art Playgroup is offered on the following days during this Fall 1 session:
Mondays 10-10:50am (FULL)
6 weeks: 9/9 - 10/14
Mondays 11:10am-12pm
(single day drop in classes available!)
6 weeks: 9/9 - 10/14
Tuesdays 10-10:50am (FULL)
6 weeks: 9/10 - 10/15
Ages: 1 - 3 years
In our Toddler Art Playgroup, toddlers and their caregiver will have an opportunity to explore, experiment, and play with age appropriate art and sensory materials in our backyard art studio.
Typical weekly experiences include:
- Collaborative painting projects
- Outdoor sensory bins
- Playing with clay or homemade playdough
- Exploring light, shadow, and color with the light panel or overhead projector
- Working on an individual art project each week to take home at the end of the session.
Parent or caregiver participation required.
Where: 7615 Elba Rd, Alexandria, VA 22306
What to wear: Please dress your child (and yourself) in clothes that can get messy and are weather appropriate! While many of our activities are set up inside the Studio, we also play outside in all types of weather.
Hooray Art Policies:
- Cancellation Policy: Refunds are available for session cancellations IF we are able to fill your spot. If we are not able to find someone else to fill your spot, a Hooray Art credit will be given.
- Missed Class Policy: While we do not offer a dedicated makeup class or refunds for missed classes (yet!), families are welcome to attend another class during the same week. Please send an email if your child will miss class so that we can make arrangements.
- Hooray Art is a NUT FREE studio. Please do not send any snacks that contain peanuts or tree nuts.
